What is in the CRM
A tour of what each section does, so you know where to look. Every item here has its own page with the detail.
The sections
| Section | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Overview | The landing page: what has happened recently and what needs attention. |
| Contacts | People. Names, addresses, phone numbers and their history with you. |
| Companies | The organizations those people belong to. |
| Leads | People who are not customers yet, kept separate so your customer list stays clean. |
| Email sent and received against a customer record, so a conversation is not stranded in one person’s inbox. | |
| Support | Tickets your customers raise with you, answered as a conversation. |
| Customer invoices | Bills you send to your customers. Not your Virtisphere bill — that is in your dashboard. |
| Branding | How your customer portal looks to the people who sign in to it. |
| Custom domain | Serving that portal on your own web address instead of ours. |
| Email addresses | The addresses this account sends and receives from. |
| Team | Who has access, and what each of them may do. |
| Settings | Your business details, used on documents and in the portal. |
What is in your dashboard instead
The dashboard at https://dashboard.virtisphere.com is a different surface for a different job. It holds your relationship with Virtisphere rather than your relationship with your customers.
- Services — what you have bought and what else is available.
- Voice AI — agents, numbers, call credit and usage.
- Websites — sites we host or maintain for you.
- Billing — invoices and statements from Virtisphere to you.
- Support — tickets you raise with our team.
- Team and Settings — the same people and details, shared with the CRM.
Customer invoices in the CRM are money your customers owe you. Billing in the dashboard is money you owe us. They are deliberately kept apart so neither can be mistaken for the other.
What you can see depends on your role
Sections you do not have permission for are hidden rather than shown and refused. If a colleague can see something you cannot, it is a permission on your team membership. See Team & permissions.
Modules
Some parts are separate products rather than features of the plan — Voice AI and Websites in particular. If you are not subscribed you will still see them, and the page explains what they are rather than pretending they do not exist.
